You seem to be an experienced React developer. Have you ever heard about the event loop, requestAnimationFrame or setTimeout()? What you claim might have been true >10 years ago. Please see my previous illustrated post https://marian-caikovski.medium.com/innerhtml-vs-appendchild-e74c763846df.

Each test is repeated 20 times. Can you spot any influence of gc? Obviously, the tests got ordered alphabetically with nodes first and then HTML only for the illustration. The order does not change anything.

Finally, the code for each test is almost identical except for the tested method. I compare performance of methods. And I found no difference. Can you suggest any source demonstrating the difference?
